GQGate Web Services provides access to the
functionality of the major Global Distribution Systems
(GDS) in the form of web services. Each web service has
a set of web methods that makes the sale of travel (air,
car, and hotel) easier and more flexible.
Web services are accessible through the internet and
you, as a customer, can integrate the GDS functionality
with your own applications and databases. It is an ideal
solution for companies that do not have the GDS cryptic
format expertise and want to build a travel web site
application adapted to their needs.
The web services are based on Open Travel Alliance (OTA)
standard XML for the travel industry.
Currently we provide connections to Amadeus,
Galileo/Apollo, Sabre and Worldspan. Connections to
other travel providers are under development.

tools.
The reason for this simplified approach is that
GQGate
Web Services are based on the travel standard developed
by the Open Travel Alliance and generic web services
technologies supported by IBM, Microsoft and Sun. These
standards and technologies allow different systems to
communicate with each other using one single interface
and eliminate the cumbersome screen scraping and the
translation of GDS proprietary messages.
As such,
GQGate Web Services provide an interface to
